Meet Dana

I’m Dana Capage — a teacher, former small-business owner, a paralegal, daughter, wife and mom, based in Portland, Oregon.

I embarked on the eldercare journey when my mom became a victim of a sweetheart scam. I was shocked and felt so guilty that I hadn’t done a better job caring about my mom, whom I love very much. The journey was pretty lonely and overwhelmed me at times. I decided to help others feel better as they took on these types of challenges.

I have some funny stories to share about my pretty stubborn mom, nuggets of information to impart, and lists of others who can offer their skills. I provide no legal or financial advice, and I don’t take or keep your private information. I help you know what questions to ask, what documents to gather, what steps to take next.

If you know you will be taking on more caregiving tasks for a loved one, I offer a sounding board and skills to keep you efficient and focused. You don’t have to do all of this on your own; it is my honor to support you in your eldercare journey.
